Journal's Working Principles and Processes
Publication Policy
Our journal accepts an open access, free of charge policy and publishes periodically. Evaluation process of the submitted articles are carried out by independent reviewers. We adopted the principles of the “Committee on Publication Ethics” to create ethical assurance.
Submission process
- In the first step, the author submits the article for evaluation using the DergiPark platform.
- The editor-in-chief and the relevant field editor evaluate initially and accept or reject the article for further evaluation. This stage takes about 10 days. The article may be rejected for reasons such as being not in the scope of the journal, having ethical errors, methodological errors, or inadequacies, and not being up to date with the current literature.
- Then the accepted article is reviewed technically and, if necessary, technical corrections are requested from the author. It takes approximately 5 days to notify the author about the required technical corrections. In order to complete the technical correction phase as quickly as possible, it is important for the authors to follow the process by frequently checking the DergiPark platform and e-mails.
- After the technical review stage, the article is evaluated by external impartial referees approved by the editor-in-chief and the relevant field editor. Information about the researchers (including their affiliated institutions) is kept confidential from the reviewers. Referees are given 3 weeks for the first evaluation. After the referee evaluations, the article may require revision, may go to the editor-in-chief for final decision, or may be rejected.
- After the final evaluation of the editor-in-chief, new corrections can be requested from the author and the article can be accepted for publication, or the article can be rejected.
- After the evaluation and correction process of the article, the publication stage would take approximately 4-6 months.
